Financial information
The Rett Syndrome Research Trust is a 501(c)(3) organization (tax ID: 26-0687439). Audited financials and 990 for 2009 and 2008 are available. Please see links below.
Our numbers reflect RSRT’s commitment to our current and future supporters: In 2009 94% of every dollar donated was channeled directly to our program services - and RSRT has only one program service: research.
RSRT is lean. Our accomplishments thus far were achieved with one staff person along with the commitment of our board of trustees and volunteers. Our website, graphic design, book keeping, rent, administrative travel and more are all provided pro bono. RSRT will continue to allocate resources wisely and transparently.
We believe passionately that Rett Syndrome is reversible. Everything we do, every day, stems from this belief. The scientists, technologies and ideas are in place. Our next steps are clearly defined. We need your support to continue our work.
